Yes, yes... I did promise that I wouldn't use my journals for ranting, but look at it this way, at least I'm not ranting about a specific person. I'm just going to rant about things that have come to mind in the past couple days or weeks so sit back and just hear me out a bit.

1. Tommy Oliver and Kimberly Hart
Yes, the same Tommy and Kimberly from Power Rangers. This one came up because this weekend I was watching a whole bunch of Power Rangers episodes on youtube and also in the past couple weeks, I have been reading some fanfiction featuring the two of them (props to lilyrose284 on fanfiction.net). What pisses me off about these two is the fact that they were the perfect couple and everything and then after Kim leaves for the Olympic training in FL, Saban trashes her good name by making her send that awful breakup letter to Tommy in Zeo. I guess they really wanted Tommy and Kat to get together that badly, but it just wasn't the same!! How could they do something so blasphemous?!?! Then, when Tommy made a brief appearance in the Power Rangers Wild Force episode "Forever Red" I was overjoyed and hoped they would delve a bit into each of the former rangers' personal lives. Although that didn't happen, I was tickled when Jason mentioned how Tommy was too busy oggling Kimberly at the Juice Bar. I would have been so happy if Tommy had turned around and said something along the lines of "I can oggle her all I want now." and then Kimberly comes out of nowhere and they put their arms around each other.... that would have been too perfect!! Well since that didn't happen, when they placed Tommy in Dino Thunder, I got my hopes up again, but was greatly disappointed when nothing of the like happened.
I know this is minor in comparison to other things in life, but I feel like everything in Power Rangers would be complete if they just put Tommy and Kim back together, even if they both just appear randomly in some upcoming season, I'll be happy with that! Just fix that terrible mistake and make them kiss and makeup for old times sake!

2. Physics Class
Ugh!!! I hate physics with a passion. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to get it when it comes to taking the test. I can do the homework for the most part and I even do okay on the quizzes (well not this past one, I'm sure of it), but when I take the test, I get all messed up and do stupid things. I pretty much have one more chance to get it right this time and I sincerely hope and pray that I can pass with flying colors. If not, well I'm screwed and I'll have to repeat the class. Here's to hoping that I can do well on my test next Monday. XP

3. Pre-med Program in the U.S.
I know that there have been many successful doctors that have come out of American med schools and have passed all their required classes in their undergrad years in college, but jeez... I still feel like the majority of these classes that we are forced to take because of the MCATs are pointless and ultimatley will not help us in our profession. So apparently classes like physics and calculus are required parts of the curriculum for med school? I can understand biology classes and basic chemistry (no orgo... even though I'm taking it right now), as well as English classes (we need literate doctors!), but why do we have to take other pointless classes? Is it to be well-rounded or is it to weed out all the people who don't have the potential to go to med school? I'd like to think that it's the latter because even my physics professor has mentioned that all the people who do badly won't be in the class for long since they will drop it. It's just so annoying!

4. The Real World vs. Academic World
People have often told me to stay in school because there is nothing out there in the world and that school life is much easier. I sometimes wonder if this is true, especially because of the above rant. To me, troubles in the academic world translate to trouble in the real world when you're unable to get a job because of poor academic performance (i.e. not getting a degree in what you want). I guess no one really saw that correlation. =/

5. ???
I actually have a rant here, but I promised that I wouldn't rant about a specific person, but this has been bothering me for a couple weeks now and it's even slightly pissing me off. All I will say is that I absolutely hate liars and people who do anything to get their way, even if it means hurting the people closest to you. And even worse... I hate people who do something wrong and then act like they never did anything wrong and they just continue going on about their business like everything is fine and peachy!!! >__<

*sigh*

Okay... I should stop ranting now since I have to go shower and get ready for work and school. I just needed to get some of this off my chest so later day! <3
